5 Ways to Build Your Confidence

Confidence isn’t something you’re born with. you must build up confidence, and this may take years, it’s a mindset that takes effort to maintain but once you master it your life will change in better.

Confidence comes from feelings of well-being, acceptance of your body and mind, belief in your own ability, skills and experience.

Here is a list of 5 ways to build you confidence.

1. Face your fears

The best way to overcome fear, and build confidence is to face it head-on. By doing something that scares you every day, you will see your self-confidence rise. Face your fears and you wont regret it!

 

 

2. Positive thinking

Stop thoughts that are limiting and self-defeating. Cut your negative thoughts immediately and replace with words that are positive and confident. The more you repeatedly send positive messages to yourself, the more confident you will become.

3. Excercice

 

Exercising will make you feel better about yourself, give you more energy and encourage better life choices and a better attitude. Exercising helps your body to produce endorphins. Endorphins are chemicals in the brain that make you feel good. A portion of our confidence comes from how we feel in our own skin, how we think we look and how healthy our body feels inside. Confidence is a mind and body state.

4. Eat healthy

Poor diets may encourage depressive feelings. These negative feelings only drop self-confidence. Self-confidence depends on a combination of good physical health, emotional health and social health. 5.Be assertive

Being assertive means standing up for what you believe in and sticking to your principles.

Being assertive also means that you can change your mind if you believe it is the right thing to do, not because you are under pressure from somebody else. Assertiveness, confidence and self-esteem are all very closely linked – usually people become naturally more assertive as they develop their confidence.
